You want it, you need it, you absolutely have to have it—a mobile phone. Let’s face it, in the modern day and age you really can’t get anywhere without a phone or tablet; and although making the choice between literally thousands of options is never easy, with special Orange offers and great prices on the phones you want most, at least you’ll have a little left to spare for that LOL Cats app.
Although we in the UK might not want to admit or acknowledge it, the once solidly British mobile network operator Orange, which launched in 1993 and was listed for years on the FTSE 100 index, is now a joint French-German-UK property having been purchased by France Telecom in 2000 before merging with Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile UK to form the joint venture EE.
With more than 17 million customers worldwide, Orange mobile and broadband network services are a backbone of British telecommunications. Orange UK currently offers a simple selection of mobile phone packages—either prepaid monthly service, or a pay as you go mobile option that gives users the option to top-up phone credit via swipe card, voucher or online.
Operating 300 “Orange Shops” across the UK, the Orange brand is clean, modern and fun, appealing to younger users and marketing contracts and mobile phones to the youth of the UK as well as business users and families.
