About The Entertainer
From humble beginnings in 1981, The Entertainer has grown to become the UK’s largest independent toy shop under the watchful eye and dedicated direction of Co-Founding husband and wife Catherine and Cary Grant. From the opening of the first local toy shop in Amersham, Buckinghamshire, Cary and Catherine have devoted themselves to providing the highest quality toys to children across the country and around the world.
In addition to offering a broad selection throughout 91 retail locations and in the specialty online shop, The Entertainer maintains its commitment to children and families through The Grant Foundation, The Entertainer’s charitable enterprise.
In accordance with the founders’ Christian values, The Entertainer tithes its profits, and has donated hundreds of thousands of pounds to children's charities including The Toybox Charity, an organization supporting children living on the streets in Guatemala.
